In this week’s ‘Getting To Know’ section we introduce to you one of our waiters, Preston.

Preston moved to Bakersfield not long ago to be closer to his girlfriend. She has since become his fiancée.  So it seems as if the move was a good choice.

Preston worked in the restaurant business in Monterey as a bartender, and was anxious to discover more about wine.  Valentien was just the right fit.

An avid snowboarder, Preston remains involved in the industry selling specialized boards.  Preston is also a Certified Scuba Diver, and has been since age 12! He now holds an Advanced Certification, and has dove in shark infested waters, on more than one occasion.

Preston lists seafood, sushi, and lobster as his favorite foods. Hmm, I wonder, does that include shark?
